McBookie League Two
LANARK UNITED 3
ARDEER THISTLE 2
UNLUCKY Ardeer lost out by the odd goal in five at Moor Park to leave them in bottom spot.
The home side took the lead in the opening minute through Hugh Kerr. However Thistle rallied and levelled just three minutes later courtesy of a goal from Jamie Donnelly.
However right on half-time Kerr bagged his second goal to restore the home side's lead and in 69 minutes, he completed his hat-trick.
Back came Thistle in 84 minutes as Kwaku Nyame netted to pull them within a goal.
However, it was too little, too late as the Lanarkshire side held on to win.
