MUIR James Muir (known as Jim), lately of Whitlees Court, Ardrossan died peacefully 11th June 2018 at Crosshouse Hospital, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Moyra Tomkins, father to Robert, Lesley and Alastair, dear grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be sadly missed by all. A lifelong resident of Saltcoats/Ardrossan, Jim worked at the Countess Cinema, The Ardrossan Co-operative Society and latterly as Head of History at Auchenharvie Academy before a long and happy retirement. Funeral service to be held 9th July at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium, Dreghorn at 11.30am and thereafter to the Lauriston Hotel in Ardrossan. Family flowers only please.
