ALEXANDER Suddenly but peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on 16th September 2017, Robert, beloved husband of Isabella, father to James, Clare, Liza, Dorothy and Paula. Sadly missed by all the family. Funeral at St Mary's Chapel, Saltcoats on Tuesday 25th September at 10am, thereafter to Auchenharvie Cemetery at 11.15am. My Dad. A man of few words but when he spoke the words were worth listening to.A man of extreme intellect and knowledge, a man that could fix anything that was broken that was MY Dad. A serious man but when he smiled he lit up the room, a handsome proud man that would do anything for anyone at anytime. I have my special memories with you dad that i will cherish and remember forever, people ask me here in NZ what did your dad give you, an easy answer he gave me and my children Life. I live through him as does his Grandchildren thank you Dad.
I would like to acknowledge my Mother and four sisters in the way they dealt with my Dad's illness and death, I'm forever grateful and indebted to you all for the compassion and Love you showed our dad.

Dad.. Rumpert...Grumpy Rumpy is now at peace and with his dad and brothers. Thanks for the last week Dad it was amazing: Funny and crazy till your last breath. We all left with happy memories... and aye your now a sunbeam alright. Sleep well dad and papa... all our love. Clare, Roy, John-Paul and Daniel xxx
