GOODING On the death of the last Provost of Stevenston, Sam Gooding, and his wife, Margaret, who died suddenly, in such short space of time. Sam leaves a legacy of tireless work for Stevenston and community, with a street named Gooding Crescent. Margaret and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for the letters, cards, phone calls and flowers received on the death of both her parents. Thanks to all North Ayrshire Council Carers, especially Tracey, her wee pal. Also Doctor Ghosh and Doctor Shetty. Special thanks to Dot and Brian for all and more. Thanks to Funeral Directors Ian Blair & Mary for patience and kindness at such a difficult time and Rev. Nathan Owens for his help and spiritual guidance at both funerals.
