Normally when the bride-to-be sees the groom running as fast as he can through town it means the wedding is off.
But Lesley Diack was happy to see fiance Billy Richardson pelting through West Kilbride hours before their recent Overton Church wedding. He had organised a two-mile charity run - which attracted a field of 74 - in memory of his late father, also Billy.
The new Mrs Lesley Richardson said: "We were both born and raised in the town, so it was a brilliant day."
