MUSICAL MEMORIAL FOR PLANTATION FOUNDER

A community group who have transformed an Ardrossan park space plan to create a lasting memorial to one of their founder members.
Friends Of The Plantation founder member John Dolan sadly passed away at the end of last year, but now the group plan to commemorate his life with a concert and memorial.
"The only thing missing today was John," secretary Jim Miller said following a meeting this week.
He made such an impression on everyone involved with the project. We will all carry on the work but he will be sadly missed."
