Another issue stated in Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education report was that pupils did not have access to sufficient toilets.
The school did pull back though when the report praised the fact that several science, technical and home economics rooms had benefited from refurbishment and that windows had been replaced throughout the building.
It was also stated that "pupils and staff benefited from recent addition of fitness suites with ancillary equipment and changing accommodation. Substantial fencing, descrete parking area and extensive CCTV coverage had improved school security."
