FOX CUB RESCUED FROM STEVENSTON BURN

A BABY fox is safe and well this week after being rescued from the Stevenston Burn.
The team at the Hessilhead Wildlife Centre near Beith were called in by concerned local residents after they spotted two cubs stranded on a piece of land next to Bonnie Leslie Court.
Gay Christie told the Herald: "They had fallen from a wall and were trapped on a small piece of land in the burn."
The cub is now being cared for by Gay and Andy Christie at Hessilhead Wildlife Centre.
