TEEN PAIR RESCUED FROM PUBLIC TOILET

TWO 15-year-old boys had to be rescued from an electronically operated public convenience this week after they became trapped.

The lads got locked in the loo - a pay per use one at Stevenston Cross - together at around 4pm on Monday.

When the teens discovered they coulnd't get out, one of them called 999 on his mobile phone and a crew from Ardrossan Fire Station was dispatched to the scene.
