Police and Coastguard respond to emergency calls after the discovery of a car in the water off Stevenston point.
A full scale emergency operation was underway following the discovery early on Sunday afternoon.
Strathclyde Police, Ardrossan Coastguard Rescue Team and Troon lifeboat were all tasked to assist.
