A SICK mugger who robbed bus passengers at knifepoint has been jailed for more than two years.

John Paul Burns, 24, brandished a Stanley knife and robbed a man on a bus in Saltcoats, before attacking three passengers on another service in Vernon Street.

He then boarded a third bus in Stevenston and demanded cash from a man.
