By Fiona Simpson

Printer Print Article

POLICE have started a man-hunt in Saltcoats amid claims that a family home was PETROL-BOMBED.

As yet there is no known motive for the Saturday night incident, which stunned neighbours in Ross Road.

Those living nearby claimed a child may have been at the house - a family home - at the time of the terrifying assault. Miraculously, those inside escaped without injury.

Police said they were called to the property at 11.30pm on Saturday, July 12 after the crude petrol bomb was thrown at a door there.
