Gran and granddaughter in Arran trip nightmare

A STEVENSTON gran has spoken out about her terror as she and her granddaughter got caught up in the huge flood in Arran recently.

Karen Robertson had taken 10-year-old Jordyn Lee on a summer camping trip but woke up one morning to find herself surrounded by 10feet of water.

She told the Herald: “It was terrifying. I went to the police and said I needed to get my granddaughter back to the ferry to get home.
