THE long-awaited World Record attempt by members of the Evolution Skate Park turned out to be unsuccessful when only 188 people turned up.
Plans to enter the Guinness Book of World Records with the longest
in-line skating chain were quashed because 300 people were needed.
Park manager Robert Paterson was disappointed but revealed those who did
show up had a brilliant day anyway.
