CORPORAL Kenny McGill, 30, of Beith travelled all the way from Iraq - to see his son start primary school!
The experienced solider has been in the scorching heat of the desert for the six mouth tour and has been looking forward to coming home for some well deserved leave and to see his son Cameron, 4, on his first day of Primary School.
Kenny said: "It's great to see wee Cameron in his school uniform for the first time."
