DAD DIES IN ROAD SMASH

A DAD-OF-TWO has died following a road crash on the A78 between Ardrossan and West Kilbride on Saturday.
The crash occurred around 7.30am when a Volkswagan car collided with a Rover car being driven by Kenneth McLeod from Saltcoats.
Sergeant Alistair Carswell at the Road Policing Department in Ayr is continuing enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash and are asking witnesses to phone him on 01292-664146.
