SICK ROBBERS DOUSE SHOP MANAGER IN PETROL

A SHOP worker doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight during a robbery is recovering this week.
The 22-year-old woman and a female colleague of 67 were opening up the Spar store in West Kilbride’s Orchard Street for their Sunday shift when two raiders pounced.
Louise Smith and her older colleague were left extremely distressed by the robbery and have been given time off work to recover.
