TRIBUTES are continuing to be paid to a devoted Kilwinning mum who died while trying to rescue her children from their burning home on Sunday morning.
Brave Angela Brown, 31, managed to pull her three-year-old daughter Kassie from the blaze at the flat in Culzean Place, Pennyburn before attempting to save her sons Sean and Kyle.
Neighbours told how the mother-of-five collapsed in the stairs at around 6am before being brought out of the inferno unconscious.
