ARDROSSAN COAST DRAMATIC RESCUE

THREE sailors were involved in a dramatic airlift last week when they had to be rescued after treacherous weather put them in life-threatening danger.
The men were sailing off the coast of Ardrossan last Wednesday when strong winds caused their yacht to end up stranded on Horse Island.
Due to the severe weather conditions the men had to be airlifted to Crosshouse Hospital where two were treated for shock and one for minor head injuries.
