SCUM STOLE CHARITY BOX FROM CHIPPY

THE Royal British Legion Scotland have ended up better off than they would have thanks to a local woman's generosity.
A collection tin for the Legion was stolen from the Batter Inn chippy in Saltcoats but when the branch president turned up to collect it he found that the establishments, Ada Seymour had donated her tips.
Mr Kennedy said: "The sup contained more than what it would have and we are delighted by Ada's kind gesture."
