OAP ATTACKED IN OWN HOME

POLICE are appealing for information after cowardly thugs beat up and robbed an 82-year-old man in his own home.
George Colligan of Rowan Place, Beith was attacked and robbed in his own home and was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital with multiple injuries.
Police issued an appeal for information to catch the culprits, describing them as 'cowardly' and said it could have been a murder inquiry.
