Shanks retains Ardeer championship

JUNIOR John Shanks has successfully defended the Ardeer Golf Club Championship crown in style.
Shanks, the first Junior member to win the top prize last year, turned in a magnificent performance to defeat current head greenkeeper Stephen Higgins on finals day, the culmination of a week of matchplay.
