BEITH MAKE THE QUARTER FINAL
Print Article
Beith 3 v Auchinleck Talbot 1
BEITH surged into the quarter-finals of the West courtesy of a scintillating second half display in which they ran their fancied opponents absolutely ragged.
Talbot had the slope and a strong breeze in their favour and as the game settled, had the first attempt at goal after eight minutes, but ex-Beith forward and many of many clubs Danny McKelvie shot straight at Tiropolous following a quick break.
Beith's dynamic duo of Andy Reid and Kenny McLean also looked lively when in possession but the latter show tamely at keeper Strain from a tight angle after he burst through onto a McGarvey pass.
