CLINICAL Cumnock side, still reeling from their Citylink Scottish Cup final defeat, blitzed sorry Buffs to land the showpiece Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup for the first time.
Campbell Money's side turned in a five-star display in a totally one-sided contest to give them a massive psychological advantage against the Abbey Parkers in next week's two-leg Super Premier Division playoff.
It was Buffs' third defeat in the final of this revamped competition and Alan McTurk's side were a shadow of the fighting force who had dumped holders Irvine Meadow out at the semi-final stage only 10 days earlier.
