CUMNOCK 5 KILWINNING RANGERS 0

A CLINICAL Cumnock side, still reeling from their Citylink Scottish Cup final defeat, blitzed sorry Buffs to land the showpiece domestic trophy for the first time.

Campbell Money's sidse turned in a five-star display in a totally one-sided contest to give them a massive psychological advantage against the Abbey Parkers in next week's two-leg Super Premier Division playoff.

It was Buffs' third defeat in the final of this revamped competition and Alan McTurk's side were a shadow of the fighting force who had dumped holders Irvine Meadow out at the semi-final stage only 10 days earlier.
