THISTLE RAID ON RIVALS

Ambitious new boss John Garroch and assistant Sammy Conn have hit the ground running since being appointed to the DALRY THISTLE hotseat just two weeks ago, raiding rival Stagecoach Ayrshire District League side Troon Juniors to snap up FIVE highly experienced players.
Jason Stewart, Brian Strain, who was also attracting interest from Auchinleck Talbot and Neilston, Barry Fleeting, Scott Brown and Tony McCormack have all signed on the dotted line at Merksworth Park, while striker Jim "Tiger" McNally has moved in the opposite direction to join Irvine Victoria.
