BEITH JUNIORS 3 DALRY THISTLE 2
A LAST gasp winner fromsub Andy Reid on Saturday secured Beith their place in the quarter-finals of the Ardagh Glass League Cup.
They started the match in great fashion going ahead after 30 seconds when John Craig turned on a James Canning centre and shot low past Willie Rankine from just inside the box.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, Beith had defeated Largs Thistle 3-0 to remain top of the section in a game that had little fluency to it,
Any real football that was played came from Beith and they stuck away the chances that came their way against a stuffy Largs outfit who have in recent years often proved to be difficult opponents.
