Winton manager's ambition on eve of new season
AMBITIOUS ARDROSSAN WINTON ROVERS boss Derek Frye is calling on his improving young side to realise their potential and make a strong challenge for promotion to the Super First Division as they gear up for Saturday's derby opener against SALTCOATS VICTORIA.
However Seasiders boss George Gillon is looking to spring an upset in the intruiging Stageacoach Ayrshire District League clash at Winton Park.
While delighted his side have won the North Ayrshire Cup two years running Frye, who misses the weekend game as he is in Malta coaching, has his eye on the big prize.
