GIFTED teenage North Ayrshire athletics star John McCafferty Jnr was celebrating another glorious triumph at the weekend.
The Irvine AC and UK number one multi-event under 17 athlete retained another of his Scottish High Jump Championship titles at Grangemouth Stadium at the weekend along with a bronze medal in the shot putt.
John will also be capped for his country at an International Two-Day Decathlon competition in England on September 6 and 7.
