NEWLY-promoted Garnock steamrollered their North Ayrshire neighbours in this one-sided derby tussle at Lochshore on Saturday.
The all-North Ayrshire showdown started with neither team giving an inch and trying desperately to break each other down.
Garnock were awarded a penalty in the fifth minute which was narrowly missed and four minutes later Irvine were awarded a penalty which Graham McCue converted to give them the lead.
