WINTON gained a useful point at Whitletts and ended their hosts’ 100 per cent record in a poor game played in dreich conditions.
It took two minutes for Winton to show their intent when a free-kick played in short saw John Gallagher have time to clip the ball over Barclay and the bar. Stephen McKissock got in at the back post on four minutes but stabbed his effort over the bar.
