Beith cruised into the second round of the New Coin Automatics West of Scotland Cup with a comprehensive mauling of Ardeer Thistle.
The visitors went on the attack from the first whistle and after only three minutes Kenny McLean had tested goalkeeper Henderson. It took only another two minutes for Beith to open the scoring and it was pacey McLean who did the damage.
