GUNNING FOR GLENS
By Stewart McConnell
PROUD DALRY THISTLE boss John Garroch hailed his team's fighting spirit as they set up a money-spinning Citylink Scottish Cup Second Round clash away to Stagecoach Super League Premier Division winners Glenafton Athletic with a come-from-behind win in a replay at Dunbar on Saturday.
Now he is setting his sights on causing an upset on Saturday as Thistle head to Loch Park to face Gordon Dalziel's form team following a come from behind 3-2 victory in a replay away to Dunbar United.
Garroch told Sportscene: "It was a fantastic performance and our second half showing was the best I've seen since joining the club in the summer."
BEITH JUNIORS Boss John Millar was encouraged with his team's showing as they improved their recent Citylink Scottish Cup record with a 3-0 home win against Royth.
