GLENAFTON ATHLETIC 1 DALRY THISTLE 1

TENACIOUS Thistle battled hard to hold Stagecoach Super League Premier Division leaders Glens at Loch Park to earn a money-spinning replay at Merksworth Park this coming Saturday.

Gordon Dalziel's hosts got off to the best possible start by taking an early lead after only two minutes Dalry were hesistant in defence and as the ball bounced off several players it came to Eeles at the far post where he headed into the net.

If Glenafton were thinking of how many it would be, They were very wroing as Dalry, who are two leagues below them, dug deep and gradually played their way back into the game.
