BEITH undoubtedly won a point rather than lost two from the contest at Barrhead where they were second best for much of the game.
Saying that, they had the opporutnity to grab all three points with a late flourish including a missed penalty.
Beith were boosted by the return of Marc McShane from lengthy injury but it was the home side that opened smartest with pacey Craig Malcolm prominent and he delivered a ball into the Beith box that had to be scrambled clear.
