Stagecoach Super League Premier Division: BEITH JUNIORS 4 IRVINE MEADOW 2
SWEET revenge was gained by Beith for their defeat a few months back in the Ardagh Glass Cup to underline their potential title challenge and put another dent in their much-vaunted visitors' ambitions.
An ill-disciplined Meadow side had midfielder Gareth Turner, defender Chris McGowan and mangaer Chris Strain sent off as they crashed to their second league defeat of the season.
The home side kicked off up the slope with the elements at their backs. But it was Meadow who looked slightly better in the early exchanges.
