Iron Man(PG)

Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Action fantasy with Robert Downey Jr. playing the central character Tony Stark and alter ego Iron Man. Stark is a wealthy industrialist, the chief executive of a large weapons manufacturer who leads something of a playboy lifestyle.

However a crisis develops when he is captured by Taliban forces on a trip to Afganistan. He comes up with the idea of making a highly sophisticated armoured suit in an effort to escape his captors. Stark changes his focus from business interests to crime fighting in the form of Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow plays Stark's secretary and love interest, Pepper Potts.

Made of Honour(12A)

Starring: Patrick Dempsey, Michelle Monaghan, Kevin McKidd.

Romantic Comedy with Dempsey and Monaghan playing best friends although Dempsey's character Tom would prefer a closer relationship. Before he gets a chance to discuss his feelings with Hannah(Monaghan), she announces her engagement to Colin McMurray, a Scottish duke played by Kevin McKidd. This news comes as a complete surprise to Tom who is asked to be the Maid of Honour by Hannah.

Tom agrees reluctantly to perform the duty at their wedding which is to take place in Scotland. He hopes that in the lead up to the wedding, his feelings will be reciprocated by Hannah but as time edges closer towards the ceremony, the situation becomes more desperate for Tom.

Nim's Island(U)

Starring: Jodie Foster, Gerard Butler, Abigail Breslin.

Family adventure with Abigail Breslin playing the title character Nim who lives on a beautiful and remote island with her father Jack (Butler). Nim has a great passion for reading, especially the books chronicling the adventures Alex Rover, a character that is based on her Dad without her knowledge.

When a storm hits the island, her father goes missing which leads Nim to ask Alex Rover for help. Little does Nim know that Alex is actually Alexandra(Jodie Foster), the author of the adventures who rarely leaves the confines of her home is something of a recluse. Alexandra decides that she must help Nim and together they encounter a series of adventures in their efforts to locate Jack.
