MEMBERS of different church groups in the Three Towns came together last week as part of their annual Good Friday celebrations.
Crowds of around 50 followers from several local churches and groups - including the North Parish Church, St Andrew's Episcopal, South Beach Baptist Church, St Mary's RC Church, St Cuthbert's, the New Trinity, the Salvation Army, Calvary Way, Saltcoats Missionary Fellowship and Adelaide Bible College - took part in a parade through Saltcoats' Hamilton Street, Dockhead Street and the Braes. They then gathered for a special service at the park at Melbourne Terrace where, in 2000, a monument was erected. The event has taken place every year since 2000.
