ONE of Seamill's leading hotels launched a new concept this week aimed at helping young people learn new skills while competing for the chance to get a job.
Chefrentice from the Seamill Hydro will give three young people the chance to build their confidence and get paid with the most successful participant getting the opportunity to land a job with the team on a permanent basis.
George Jones, Hotel Development Manager at the Seamill Hydro, said the company are looking for applications from those aged 16 and older. He added: "Over three months the candidates will undergo intensive training in every element of working in a professional kitchen and be set exciting and fun challenges while competing for one full time, permanent position in one of Ayrshire best kitchens."
