A THREE-piece alternative indie-folk band with ties to the Three Towns will feature on BBC Alba later this year.
The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse and the Wat Wat Kings performed for BBC Alba in November as part of the Rapal TV show, which is scheduled to be aired in late February or early March.
Band member and former Stevenston resident Ray McCartney (Ramisco Maki Maki) plays guitar, ukulele and provides the vocals for the band alongside members Jeff (Keith Pearce of Oak Hero) on bass and Caliente Latidos (Cailean Macleod of Oak Hero) on drums and percussion.
