A NEW group of apprentices at Hunterston B power station enjoyed an open evening at the station in preparation for heading-off on a world-class training course at the end of June.
The seven young people and their families attended an information session at Hunterston B, which was also attended by existing apprentices, the maintenance manager, plant manager, site apprentice training co-ordinator and fleet apprentice manager.
They were on hand to give the new intakes information how the station operates and details of what life is like as an EDF Energy apprentice.
