VANDALS left a trail of destruction at Campbell Park, home of Junior football side Saltcoats Victoria on the eve of the new season.
The canteen and a dugout were set alight and the roof of another dugout ripped off with flagpoles also smashed up.
This week the club condemned those responsible for the incidents which happened early on Monday morning at the troubled ground, which had already been condemned by North Ayrshire Council in June as the wall at the entrance had been damaged and the clubhouse unfit for use.
