THERE is a information day at Marie Curie in Saltcoats tomorrow and everyone is invited to head along and see the work that the team there do.
Brenda Johnstone, Chairperson of The Three Towns Marie Curie Fundraising Group and Elma Mitchell, Community Fundraiser, joined Kay Thompson, Shop Manager at the Marie Curie shop in Saltcoats this week to meet staff and volunteers.
Both the shop and fundraising group raise money to fund local Marie Curie nurses who provide care and support for those living with a terminal illness in the local community and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join them.
The information day is being held at the Marie Curie Shop, 68 Dockhead Street, Saltcoats, on Friday, 20 November between 10am–4pm so please head along to hear all about the volunteer opportunities on offer.
