Lucy, 13, auditions to star on BGT
A LOCAL teenager is hoping to go far in a popular national talent contest, with her first audition taking place this weekend.
Lucy Boyd, 13, who is a second year pupil at Ardrossan Academy, is travelling to the SECC in Glasgow to tackle her first audition for Britain’s Got Talent.
The teen, who is also a DJ on 3TFM, hopes to sing in front of an audience and see herself live on television.
Her dad Alistair said: “As a parent, I couldn’t be more proud.
“We have always told her that she has a fantastic voice for her age.
“She definitely has talent.”
