STANLEY Primary School in Ardrossan have been welcoming visitors to their school over the past few weeks as they celebrate everything Scottish.
During Scottish fortnight, Primary Six pupils enjoyed a visit from Mark Hogarth, who is a director of Harris Tweed who told them all about their products, exports and how the business is run.
Mark is from Ardrossan himself and so is Mary Barclay, a former Primary School teacher who has recently published her first children’s book ‘Scary Biscuits’ and she went up last Wednesday to show primary one and nursery pupils her book and her illustrations.
On Thursday, Tom Routes of Kyle Model Railway Club came in to talk to the primary three pupils about the invention of the steam train.
