ARDROSSAN Guides took part in a fashion show as part of their fundraising to go to Cologne in August for the centenary of Senior Section.
The 5th Ardrossan Senior Section are trying to raise the funds to join the international celebrations for their 100th Anniversary.
The Guides will visit Paris, join activities in Cologne and return via Amsterdam. The trip will cost £720 per Guide, so lots of fundraising is needed.
M&Co in Saltcoats kindly hosted a Fashion Show on Tuesday, April 12. Guides and other volunteers modelled garments from the shop in front of an audience – the first time modelling for most of them!
The entry and raffle raised £229 for the fund.
The Guides wish to thank all the volunteers, M&Co for hosting the fundraiser, and Kirkgate Church for lending chairs.
The next event is a ceilidh on Friday, April 29 at St Peter’s Church Ardrossan.
