THE Ayrshire College Social Care class recently held a fundraising cabaret for the Brain Tumour Charity in memory of a tragic North Ayrshire dad.
Brian ‘Brexy’ Haggarty tragically lost his life in September 2014 and ever since his family and friends have been fundraising for the Brain Tumour Charity.
Brian’s brother Martin said he was ‘blown away’ by the support and explained how it came about.
He said: “They heard of our page in memory of Brian and they approached me about their fundraising night. The money they raised was beyond their expectations. They had a raffle with a top prize of a tour of Ibrox donated by the Rangers Charity Foundation.”
