IT WAS party time at Seabank Nursing Home in Saltcoats as one of their residents celebrated her 100th birthday.
Ina Irvine, who was born on May 9, 1916, was joined by Deputy Provost Robert Barr as she received her telegram from Queen Elizabeth II at a special party in the nursing home.
Ina, who was born in Glasgow, moved to the local area in 1965 to join her sister.
But before that she had holidayed on the Isle of Arran every year.
The spritely centenarian worked as a receptionist at the Seamill Hydro until she retired in 1979.
Now a resident of Seabank, Ina enjoys bowling, crosswords and quizzes.
Music has always played a big part in her life.
She was a keen dancer who liked attending the Highland Institute in Glasgow and the Royal Albert Dance Halls.
Ina now likes to relax and take short strolls around the local area.
And the 100-year-old still enjoys her gin and tonic every night!
