LAST weekend, Ayrshire Police Division held an Open Day in Saltcoats which gave locals the chance of a behind the scenes look at what the Police do in the local area.
Attended by more than 1,500 people in glorious sunshine, doors opened with a number of partner agencies on hand to give people an insight into what they do and how they help to keep people safe.
And judging by these pictures, it seems that everyone, young and old, had a great time.
Those who supported the open day included COPS (Care of Police Survivors), North Ayrshire Council, Police Scotland Youth Volunteers, No Knives Better Lives, Show Racism the Red Card, Shell Basketball, Institute of Advanced Motorists, 3TFM, Scottish Emergency Riders Volunteer Service, British Transport Police, HM CoastGuard and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
