PUPILS from the Rural Skills course and the Duke of Edinburgh course at Spark of Genius school in Glengarnock worked together on a project to create a sensory garden for Top Tots Nursery.
The Rural Skills class worked on site, clearing it and planting shrubs to create the sensory garden and this contributed towards their award.
The pupils who were working on the Duke of Edinburgh Award created wooden benches and some of these have been placed within the garden. The materials for the benches were donated by Todd Timber and the school would like to thank them for the very kind donation.
Head teacher Iain Cameron said: “The pupils who participated should be really proud of themselves.”
